Rokeby Road streetscape upgrade

The city’s $3.3 million investment in the revitalisation of the Subiaco Town Centre will start later this month, with the project scheduled for completion in November this year.

The infrastructure works will improve the amenity, safety and overall aesthetics of Rokeby Road between Roberts and Bagot roads.

The scope of works includes:
  • new multi-use light and banner poles
  • raising a number of car bays to encourage alfresco dining
  • road resurfacing
  • upgrades to median strips including removal of sections of the median and new kerbing where appropriate
  • street furniture, bollards and planter boxes.
Where possible, works will be conducted at night. The city will be liaising with local business owners and residents in order to minimise disruption.
