SMALL BUSINESS GRANTS

Giving businesses a boost
The small business grants program provided a $30,000 investment to support twelve businesses achieve improvements including signage, websites and visual merchandising. The next round of business grants will be announced next year. Read more.

Help us to help you 
The City's Economic and Business Sustainability Advisory Committee (EBSAC) exists to help the city develop business strategies, initiatives and actions identified in the Economic Development Strategy. Members of this committee include representatives from the business community and the Western Suburbs Business Association. The committee is a key link between the City and its business community and we are looking for business representatives to join this committee. Visit our website to find out more and to nominate.

Let's talk business!

Come along to the City's new Business Chat series held at Subiaco Arts Centre on the last Wednesday of every month for the opportunity to come together with fellow business owners to learn and share in an informal and relaxed environment. Local business founder backs wine industry innovation
Mr Piers Lewis, founder of SmallCap Corporate, based in Subiaco, has been named the non-executive chairman for Digital Wine Ventures. This ASX listed company is said to disrupt the global wine industry with its emerging technology. Read more.

Curtin Ignition Program
In August the city supported two entrepreneurs in their quest for innovation by providing scholarships to the Curtin Ignition Program.
