Giving businesses a boost
The small business grants program provided a $30,000 investment to support twelve businesses achieve improvements including signage, websites and visual merchandising. The next round of business grants will be announced next year. Read more.

The City's Economic and Business Sustainability Advisory Committee (EBSAC) exists to help the city develop business strategies, initiatives and actions identified in the Economic Development Strategy. Members of this committee include representatives from the business community and the Western Suburbs Business Association. Mr Piers Lewis, founder of SmallCap Corporate, based in Subiaco, has been named the non-executive chairman for Digital Wine Ventures. This ASX listed company is said to disrupt the global wine industry with its emerging technology. Read more.
