The City of Subiaco is proud to announce its support of a new annual boutique street festival for 2016. The Subiaco Street Party will take place in the Subiaco Town Centre on Saturday 23 April between 2pm and 9pm.
Event organisers UpBeat Events, together with the city, the Subiaco Town Centre Network
and the local business community, are collaborating to a create a community event that highlights the character, vibrancy and unique retail, hospitality and service providers in Subiaco.
This free community event will be a celebration of Subiaco’s rich character and café strip culture and is expected to attract 20,000 people. The party will take over Rokeby Road between Hay Street and Barker Road as well as the surrounding alleys and laneways.
There will be something on offer for all ages and the streets will come alive with with live music, roving entertainment, street food and bars, vintage market stalls, Side Show Alleyway, mini-fashion shows and more.
Event producer Jimmy Murphy from UpBeat Events said he is overwhelmed with the response from the local business community to be involved.
