Seeking tax or legal assistance?

The Curtin Tax Clinic (CTC) aims to assist unrepresented taxpayers (including business taxpayers) in meeting or complying with their taxation affairs. The CTC is the first clinic of its kind in Australia offering a friendly, student-run clinic where you will receive advice from Curtin taxation students under the supervision of experienced tax practitioners. You can apply for assistance here.

The John Curtin Law Clinic provides advice and assistance to eligible small businesses based in Western Australia. The clinic helps small businesses with identifying their legal options; carrying out legal research; preparing court documents; and providing referrals. You can apply for assistance here.

 WOMEN'S BUSINESS LUNCH

Empowering women in business

Western Suburbs Business Association (WSBA) are hosting a business lunch with an insightful presentation delivered by Mi-Lin Finnie; a business leader who has increased the percentage of women in management at Bendigo Bank WA  from 15 to 50 percent.  Mi-Lin Finnie is a  captivating speaker who will help you understand the crucial role that a sponsor plays in your career progression as well as misconceptions people have that mentors provide similar benefits to those of sponsors.

If you are a woman in business, this thought-provoking and engaging lunch is for you!

Reminder: Ignite your business idea
Applications now open!

The City of Subiaco has partnered with Curtin University to bring their Ignition Scholarship Program to Subiaco. Ignition is an intensive, one-week training program for aspiring entrepreneurs, academics and corporate innovators to trial then prepare business ideas for the commercial environment. To give potential candidates the tools to apply, the City is hosting an information session on Thursday 30 May, 10am to 11am or you can attend any of the sessions available on Curtin's website
