It's been a very successful Autumn semester for NStEP Student Training, with the return of in-person sessions as well as continued success with our online sessions. The new Student Trainer team has received excellent feedback from class reps across the country and student attendance has been very high across all sessions.

Students' Unions and HEIs can still book sessions for your class reps via our online booking portal. This allows for larger numbers of reps to be trained in your college. Class reps can also directly book an 'Open' training session via the Student Portal, including our highly anticipated Advanced Class Rep Training.

The next Network takes place on 1st December, kindly hosted by Maynooth University and Maynooth Students' Union.

Speakers include Maureen McLaughlin (Academic Registrar, Northumbria University), Niall Daly (Maynooth Students' Union), Ruth Burchell and Kevin McStravock (Quality Assurance Authority, United Kingdom), and Rachel Murphy (Trinity Disability Services).

The Network will explore a number of themes, including student engagement in quality enhancement, student partnership in student services, student partnership in assessment, and resources for supporting SU officers. The Network is a chance to consider how these issues can be addressed in institutions, as well as shaped nationally.
