Matador issued an online article titled "These 7 Small Cities Are the Perfect Basecamp for Outdoor Adventures" on May 4, 2022. The article highlighted Rattlesnake Arches and Colorado National Monument as recreation areas. Businesses that were mentioned include Carlson Vineyards Downtown Tasting Room, Highland's Distillery, Foam & Folly Brewery & Taproom, Hotel Maverick, and other Grand Junction area businesses. This article had an ad equivalency of $1,416,762.
Go World Travel Magazine highlighted Grand Junction in an online article titled "Move Over Moab. Grand Junction is Becoming the Next Biking Mecca". Grand Junction biking areas that were included in the article are Lunch Loops, Colorado National Monument, and the Riverfront Trail. Grand Junction's public art scene was also mentioned in the article along with local businesses such as Handlebar Tap House, Taco Party, Pablo's Pizza, Cafe Sol, Devil's Kitchen, Hotel Maverick, Highland's Distillery, Monumental Beer Works, Ramblebine Brewing, and Two Rivers Winery & Chateau.
