As a result of Visit GJ's PR partnership with CTO, Grand Junction was mentioned in the Winter 2022 print edition of the "Rails to Trails" magazine. The article mentions areas such as the Colorado Riverfront Trail, James M. Robb - Colorado River State Park, and Kokopelli Trail and highlights local businesses like Grand Junction Regional Airport, Handlebar Tap House, Two Rivers Winery & Chateau, and Brown Cycles.
On February 19, 2022, as a result of Visit GJ's PR efforts, Wall Street Journal published an article in print and online titled "Tumbleweed Connection". Both Colorado National Monument and Grand Mesa were included in the article as well as, Colorado Mesa University, Hotel Maverick, Moody's Lounge, Highline State Park, and other Grand Junction area businesses.
