There is zero doubt that Spring is here.  Another beautiful weekend in NWA is coming to a close.  Which means we are one day closer to the Midterm Election in November.  April and May are jammed packed with event after event.  I encourage you to review all the information below and mark your calendars.

Speaking of, Democratic nominee for State Treasurer, Karen Garcia will be our special guest at our April 21st meeting.  Several items will be on the agenda including HQ location details, Election Commissioner appointment and 2014 candidate contribution discussion.  That meeting will be help at the Quorum Courtroom starting at 6:00pm on April 21st.

Bill Clinton in Little Rock for Ross

President Bill Clinton will join Mike Ross in Little Rock on Saturday, May 3rd.  There will be limited discounted tickets available for Young Professionals.  Those must be purchased through Tyler Clark.  Please e-mail him for details.

Nate Steel to speak in Benton County

The guest speaker for the Benton County Democrats April luncheon meeting will be Nate Steel, Democratic Candidate for Arkansas Attorney General. Don't miss this opportunity to meet this exciting candidate!

Washington County Democrats will host a Young Professionals Wine and Cheese event for Mike Ross.  Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 15th at Pratt Place Barn from 6-7:30pm.  Now accepting hosts the event, cost to host is $100.00.  Email Brandon Maxey for details. 

Senior Democrats of NWA

The Program Senior Democrats of NWA for April is a Judicial Candidate Panel in preparation for the May 20th non-partisan election. Please bring a friend and expect a lively discussion!

Spring State Committee Meeting

The DPA State and Executive Committee meetings will be held on Saturday, May 31st on the Campus of Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. Our State Committee meeting will begin at 10am in the Arkansas Hall Auditorium, which is located at the corner of Henderson and 12th Street. Our Executive Committee meeting will begin at 9 am in a TBD classroom located near the auditorium.
On the evening of Friday, May 30th the Clark County Democratic Committee will be hosting a party and reception at the Mirage Sports Bar and Grill, located at 104 Malvern Road in Caddo Valley, from 5:30 pm on. For $15 you get access to an all-you-can-eat buffet, a dessert, and all the activities of the evening (including karaoke!). Full bar on premises, casual dress.
