TWO IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Character Coalition

Character Counts

NZ Herald Censors the Coalition

Despite representing 53 groups from across Auckland the NZ Herald has on three occasions now failed to print letters to the Editor from the Coalition. When challenged about this today the response was that we are a lobby group and they don't publish letters from lobby groups. We find this astounding and consider it to be censorship of a legitimate point of view.

You can download the letter they wouldn't publish here

Please share it with your members and encourage them to write.

Don't let them silence us!

This action by Auckland's leading newspaper makes it all the more important that individual member groups submit letters under their own names expressing their views.

Time is Running Out. We have to get our viewpoint out there and must act now.

We are planning some action for after the Unitary Plan launch. Watch this space and be ready to get involved.
