What is a concussion? How do I manage it?

We have the answers for you...

Join us on November 6, 2013 at 7:00pm at Apple Creek Sports Medicine Centre to talk concussions. Our athletic therapists will be answering all of your concussion questions from What is a Concussion? What are the signs and symptoms? to How do I cope with the symptoms? When can I return to normal activity?
We will be educating parents on concussion prevention and instilling the importance of coming clean about concussion symptoms in the athletes.
Our goal is to have everyone leave with a better understanding of what a concussion is and most importantly with the confidence to answer the question 'What do I do if I/my child suffer(s) a concussion?'
John is looking for volunteers to participate in a study for research in postural assessments. As a participant in this study you would be asked to complete a medical questionnaire and have 6 photographs taken in a standing position.
Your participation would involve one 20 minute session.
Dates for data collection are October 26th, November 9th and 16th 12-3pm @Apple Creek Sports Medicine Centre.
To volunteer for this study or for more information, please contact John Sage at
