Stef is on the road again with the National Trampoline team @ World Cup events and then Wold Championships.  The team has travelled to Portugal and Spain and is headed to Bulgaria next month as part of the world championships.  Good luck to the athletes as they represent our fine nation.
This summer has been busy for us as we have been to many local events which have included Sean Li attending the Funky 5Km race, City of Markham's Health and Wellness day and the Summer Swing event at Angus Glen where he provided massage for participants and educated those who would listen on the importance of taking care of themselves.  Great events and a great opportunity to say hey to our patients away from the clinic.
Nejin's latest Blog - ERGONOMICS - check it out at our Apple Creek Blog
If you have a keen interest in this topic or any others you see listed in the blog, let us know and we would be happy to provide a free lunch and learn to your group at work.  You eat, listen and learn - all for free!!!  That sounds pretty good, huh?

Now we are bragging:
Nejin Chacko will have completed his level 5 FCAMPT designation as of next week.  Nejin has been working hard on this over the last few years as it is a specialized manual designation that physiotherapists can obtain.  Great Job Nejin, and congratulations on your designation.

Jeannete Quach has qualified for the Club Worlds Ultimate Frisbee Tournament , to be held in OHIO.  Congrats to her team and we wish her all the best!
Markham Cycling Day - Apple Creek provided emergency care and post cycle massage to all those that attended the Markham Cycling Day organized by the City of Markham.  A great event saw riders cruise around Markham in a 10Km, 25Km and 50Km loop.  While it was unusually warm, everyone arrived alive and no one actually melted.  A big shout out to Nick for getting us involved in the event and we look forward to seeing more of you guys next year at the event.
The Apple Creek Kids K is happening again this year! Saturday November 4th - Sign your kids up for a great event where they can feel the same fun environment that you enjoy at your races.  A fun run for kids 12 and under, everyone gets a shirt and medal and it is held on the same weekend as the 5Km (Saturday) and the 10 KM / 1/2 Mararthon (Sunday - November 5th) at Angus Glen Golf Course.  Sign up today @ ***

Customer Appreciation Week is around the corner - come in for a cup of coffee or tea and a small snack  to help us celebrate our Anniversary as we say thanks for having so much confidence in us. Look for it October 16-21 - see you then!

Livia, Jordan and the Apple Creek Gang have had some great interactions with athletes over the last few months as we have been providing concussion pre-season screens and baseline testing with the complete concussion management protocol. This past week we've had the chance to test the CWHL's Markham Thunder as they prepare for their first season in their new home.  We wish them all the best  and look forward to cheering these ladies on.  GO THUNDER!
BCSS Career Day:  As many of you know, we host many students and this semester Abby is with us in the afternoons at the clinic.  We had the delight of going to her school, Bill Carothers, this past Wednesday to share lunch and listen to her boast about what a great placement Apple Creek is:). Great job Abby, hopefully you are learning lots.

The Apple Creek Gang would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and yours over this Thanksgiving weekend.  We hope it is filled with lots of laughs and food - with family and friends, and provides a moment to sit back and consider the things to be thankful for.  Have a great weekend, and as a reminder - the clinic will be closed on Monday and we will be back to work on Tuesday
