LIXI appoints Tim Brown as new CEO

Tim Brown will be joining LIXI in January to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Tim brings a wealth of experience to LIXI, having been a CEO at Yellow Brick Road, CEO of Vow Financial and Head of Intermediary Mortgage Sales at Macquarie Bank. In addition, Tim has served as Chairman of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA).

When asked about the prospect of working for LIXI Tim said: “This is a very exciting time for technology in the financial services industry and I am looking forward to working with LIXI’s members in building on the current technology while exploring new technology that will make our industry more efficient and compliant.”

“Technology and legislation are driving a lot of change in our industry,” he said. “I think it’s going to be a crucial time for the industry over the next 12 months to two years, both as we see changes from the government in the way brokers are licensed and also how brokers - potentially the whole lending industry - deals with clients online.

“LIXI will play an important part in standardising a lot of that information and creating what I believe is the natural evolution of the mortgage industry - especially with online and digital.”
