Dear Fellow Luthier,

Steel String OM - #4010

$1,800 including a case!!

I built such an awesome guitar in May of 2010  that I decide to keep it around my shop so that potential buyers could play and hear an example of my work. It is now time to let it go to a good home. I consider this guitar used only because of the fact that many people have played it over the last couple of years. Because I am selling this guitar at such an inexpensive price, it will be sold "as is". It is not covered by my traditional warranty offered with my commissioned guitars. I will even throw in a top of the line hard shell case that retails for $249!! Have I lost my mind? The volume and sustain of this guitar will blow away most larger bodied guitars with no problem. The guitar has plenty of sustain and plenty of clarity. Everything on it is solid wood. The back and sides are 3A Indian Rosewood. The top is 3A Sitka spruce. The neck and back braces are  mahogany. The bindings and end wedge are flame maple. The bridge, fretboard and peghead veneer are ebony. The back of the peghead is walnut burl.

The top has black/white/black purfling lines. The nut and saddle are solid bone. The fretboard has a 14 inch radius with a 25.4 or 645.16 scale length. The rosette is herringbone with black/white/black purfling lines. The finish is high gloss lacquer. It is extremely thin allowing the acoustic properties of the instrument to resonate but also providing a durable, protective finish for the guitar. Tuners are Gold finish Gotoh’s. This guitar, as well as all my instruments, are strung exclusively with D’Addario light tension strings.
