In the month of August I have been hosting Spanish Luthier, Paco Chorobo, in my shop for the second annual traditional Flamenco Guitar building course at O'Brien Guitars. For those that follow me on Facebook you have been seeing the daily progress report pictures. We offered two classes this year. Each class was 8 days long and had four students. The students that participated in this year's courses left with true Flamenco guitars they built themselves under Paco's expert instruction, complete with a French polished shellac finish. All the materials were selected by Paco in Spain and shipped to my shop. The entire shop smells like Spanish Cypress.  Paco also gave an emotional Flamenco concert for us during each course. Congratulations to all those that participated in this year's course.
If you would like to participate in next year's course please contact me to get your name on the list. We will only accept four students and those spots are in high demand.
Olé and Happy Building!
