Join us as we celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and National Read Across America Day with Heartland Point! Any child-or parent with child-who checks out a Dr. Seuss book on March 2, or reads one at the library that day, will receive a coupon for a treat at Heartland Point.
Beverly Lewis Book Signing

Award-winning, bestselling author Beverly Lewis will be at OPL on Friday, April 8 to promote her new novel, The Atonement! Mother Goose Live

Join us as we welcome Mother Goose and her friends to the library for an interactive family program! Each family will receive a free book of nursery rhymes and will have the opportunity to enjoy Mother Goose and her friends reciting everyone's favorite Mother Goose rhymes!
Winter Reading Challenge

Adults are welcome to participate in our Winter Reading Challenge. By reading at least 3 books, participants can enter to win a $25 Amazon gift card! You can also tag us in a Facebook or Instagram post every week and tell us what you are reading for a chance to win a digital DVD copy using the hashtag #OPLwinterchallenge. Spring Story Time
Now-Monday, April 18Join us for crafts, finger plays, games, songs, and stories! A range of story time slots are available for children 9 months to 5 years old. We also offer Art in the Afternoon, a special art program designed to encourage children grades K-2 to explore art and books. Brick Builder Club

Color and Craft-a-thon

Children of all ages are invited to our Color and Craft-a-thon to color mandalas and create polar fleece pillows, puppets, artbots, and more spring-themed crafts! Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult; all supplies will be provided. Bring your friends and celebrate spring!
