Explore the library while enjoying the picture book "Little Blue Truck" by Alice Schertle. Follow the pages of the book on an adventure through the library ending in the Children's Department, where there will be activities and a place to have your picture taken.

Mobile Technology Training Lab
Thursday, November 12: 11:00 a.m.-12:50 p.m.

Orrville Public Library will host the State Library of Ohio Mobile Technology Training Center on Thursday, Nobember 12. An iPad help session will be offered from 11:00-11:50 a.m., as well as an Android session from 12:00-12:50p.m. Each class is limited to 10 people and the lab is handicapped accessible. Book Club 
Tuesday, November 17: 6:30 p.m.

"Goodnight Tweetheart," a laugh-out-loud funny love story by Teresa Medeioros, has been chosen as the Book Club's November read. All are welcome to join us at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17. Copies are available at the Circulation Desk; we hope to see you there!

Fall Story Time

Give your child a head start in language-related activities and social interaction with peers. We have openings for children from 9 months old through second grade. Registration is required and story times fill up quickly. More information on story time themes and activities for age groups can be found on our events calendar on our website:

Cookbook Club
Thursday, November 5: 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Trisha Yearwood is a country music superstar and a bestselling cookbook author. This cookbook includes a dairy-free Angel Hair Pasta with avocado pesto, low-calorie Billie's Houdini Chicken Salad and awesome favorites, such as Slow Cooker Georgia Pulled-Pork Barbecue and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls. Pick up your copy today! Prepare a dish to share and bring it to the meeting on Thursday, November 5 at 6 p.m. Tableware will be provided.

Brick Builder Club
Saturday, November 14: 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Our Brick Builder Club invites kids ages 8-12 to bring a friend to imagine, create, and build with us. We'll provide the Legos, you provide the imagination! Registration is required for this free program; space is limited. Contact the Children's Department to register (330)-683-1065.

E-Media Assistance
Thursday, November 12: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Help is available to those with questions about Kindle, Nook, or iPad technologies. Stop by for a quick tutorial on borrowing books and magazines from the library by downloading them to your device for free. To register, call (330)-683-1065. Bring your own device or play with one of ours!

Home for the Holidays:
Ellie the Elf and More at the Library!
Friday, Novemer 27: 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Visit downtown Orrville for the Chamber of Commerce's annual event to kick off the holiday season. The library will feature music from the Wayne County Mountain Dulcimer Group as well as Ellie the Elf's Jingle Bell Magic Show at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. We will also host a display table for Orrville's Warm Up America group. Be sure to stop by as you celebrate around downtown!
