Join our Summer Reading Mission!
Summer reading is underway and there is something for everyone! Stop by today to get signed up and start reading and earning prizes. Programs are in place for children and youth going into grades K-12 as well as a program for adults. Come join the fun!

Father's Day Story Time
Tuesday, June 2, 9:30 or 10:30 am
Daddy, Pops, Papa – fathers have a lot of different names, but they are all special! Come to our Father’s Day themed Story Times to share books and fun with others who love their dads. Please call the Children's Department at 330-683-1065 to sign up.

Summer Story Times
Registration Begins June 3
A variety of time slots are offered for children aged 9 months to 5 years. A special art program, Art in the Afternoon, is designed to encourage children in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades to explore art and books. The summer story time session begins the week of June 15 and end the week of August 3. 

Brick Builder Club
Saturday, June 6, 10:30 am
Kids 8 -12 are invited to join our summertime Brick Builder Club! Using LEGOs, you will be challenged to build new things! We'll provide the LEGOs and you provide the imagination. There will be several sessions through the summer. Please note that you will need to register for each session separately. Call 330-683-1065 to register.

Book Club
Tuesday, June 16, 6:30 pm

All adults are invited to join the OPL Book Club! Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed is the book to read this month. Call or stop by the library's information desk to sign up for email reminders and to reserve a copy of the book, or place your hold in the catalog.

Melted Crayon Crafts
Thursday, June 25, 2:00 pm

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join us as we create art with melted crayons. Learn a fun technique to make a colorful canvas or tile. We will have everything you need for this project.
