Futures Rehabilitation Center to Attend PA Special Olympics Summer Games
Nine special athletes from Futures Rehabilitation Center are preparing to compete at the Pennsylvania Special Olympics Summer Games at Penn State University, June 7-9.
The Futures athletes will join more than 2,000 Special Olympians from across the state for three days of competition.

Sheridan Phillips – Basketball Skills
Steve McQuone – Softball Skills
Futures Rehabilitation Center staff Rick Kennedy and Pat Ryan will be among the chaperones for the event.
Selections for State Games are based on performance in training and in local and regional competitions prior to the state event. Over 360 special athletes are involved in the McKean County program.
Special Olympics is a year-round program of sports training and competition for intellectually and physically challenged athletes.
