What's New
This week we’re highlighting a few literary events in Brooklyn, sharing the songs you should be bopping to right now, and looking forward to a cool new restaurant in East Williamsburg.

WATCH THIS SPACE -- coming soon to East Williamsburg is Bonnies: a Cantonese-American restaurant who made a splash last weekend when they hosted a fun “No Gas” dinner at their newly finished restaurant. While we won’t be able to dine there until they get gas (yeah, they really don’t have any) the space looks beautiful, the branding immaculate, and the food...delicious. Follow along here to stay up to date on opening night.

Write Away
If you’re really feeling this Williamsburg literary vibe, you should also mark your calendar for Monday the 15th. Hosted at TALEA Beer Co. writers Jin, Celeste, and Chuckry of Write Away will perform live readings of one essay from each of their collections! Followed by a Q&A session afterwards, they'll be selling copies of their collections at the event. RSVP on Eventbrite here.

Remember cool friend Noah Wunsch, founder of the fantastic hibiscus water brand Ruby? Well, Ruby has been hosting a series of film screenings and this Sunday they’re hosting a viewing of The Great Beauty -- one of our favorite films and a beautiful love letter to Rome. Co-hosted with Alimentari Flaneur, swing by Franki and Vali’s in Bedstuy at 8pm for slices, figs, and Ruby cocktails while you watch.
