What's New

This week we’re sharing our BK Martini Tour, highlighting the coolest new French-Korean pastry shop, and putting 2 new restaurants on your radar.

Culture Corner

COOL NEW THING(S)
Lysée

Newly opened in Flatiron, Lysée is one of the most impressive bakeries we’ve visited in a while. Situated on two floors of a 21st St townhouse, this patisserie serves treats that are influenced by three places: Korea, France, and New York City. Coolstuff recommends you taste some of chef Eunji Lee’s creations as soon as possible!!!

Nabila's

While we discover our cool finds in many different ways, our favorite is the age-old stumble upon – this is how we found Nabila’s on Court Street. In a beautiful corner space, Nabila’s serves up Lebanese home cooking – think dips and mezzes, as well as larger dishes like roasted chicken and braised lamb. We can’t wait to stop by (intentionally next time) & try Nabila’s at 248 Court Street.

Claud

These days it seems as if there is a new top ten restaurant opening in the East Village every week. The newest addition to this trend is Claud – a restaurant and wine bar from two alumni of Momofuku Ko. With a menu that pulls from myriad culinary inspirations, a cozy interior, and a small backyard, Claud is sure to be bustling in the best way for the foreseeable future.

SIP

This weekend Coffee Bae is taking over much-loved Brooklyn Heights bakery, L’Appartement 4F. Stop by Saturday & Sunday for a speciality menu of Coffee Bae lattes & coffee-inspired pastries. Open from 8am at 115 Montague street.
