It' been a busy month!
The discussion on how to establish a home-yoga practice produced lots of practical ideas. And surely you are pleased to hear that the practical exam as well as the philosophy exam as part of my advanced yoga training went smilingly well.
Next challenge was teaching yoga to Year 9 students at a local private high school. Thank you all for your input & thoughts into what this age-group needs to hear! This project did satisfy my wish for personal & professional challenges. I've been invited back to teach throughout the whole of Term 3! Let's spread the benefits of this ancient art & science to our young people...
Now we are looking forward to our Singing Bowl Meditation next Sunday, 15th June. Both sessions are fully booked!
Here in the yoga sanctuary we kept warm & subtle with twists, inversions, standing poses and of course our all time favourite therapeutic yoga poses for lower backs, hips & digestion. Pop over to the blog for one of your winter yoga faves. Or onto youTube for a moving picture :)
Amongst it all there was time for a new batch of moisturizer. So if you need a top up for yourself or a present for a special person, let me know & I'll get it out of the fridge for you!
Finally - You asked for it - here it is: a NEW VIDEO! A standing warm-up sequence you can do anytime, anywhere & in any clothing. Yes, Pjs are surely an option! Be sure to send me a photo :) Hope it inspires you to stay warm, agile & content! The video that is, not the jarmies :)
Yes, there is a yoga class at 7pm on Monday, 9th June, Queens Birthday Public Holiday!
See you on the mat :)
