Basketball Prevention Guide

With youth sports injuries regularly headlining the nightly news, it's clearer than ever we need to protect children who play sports like football, soccer, basketball and more. From simple sprains to concussions, there are ways we can help prevent these injuries from starting when kids are very young.

According to the CDC, many sports-related injuries are predictable and preventable. Since basketball ranks as one of the top sports for injury rate among athletes 19 and younger and many of them are trying to perfect Steph Curry's pull back 3s and cross over dribbling, here is a creative prevention guide focusing on hoops-related ailments. Click here for a useful checklist tool parents can print and post on the fridge to review with their young athletes before and after every game.
