Training on New Religion Graded Course of Study Grades 5-8

The Office for Evangelization and Discipleship is excited to announce the Archbishop’s promulgation of the updated Religion Graded Course of Study for grades 5 through 8. This updated GCS includes a seventh strand to the curriculum: Theology of the Body. In addition, it offers a vocabulary section, a Magisterium and Biblical reference section, as well as a spiraled section of each standard. This teacher-friendly GCS will be implemented in the 2018/2019 school year.
All catechists and teachers were invited to a webinar last week walking you through the Religion GCS changes. Click HERE to view a recording of that webinar posted on our website.
