AE Ranked #2...again
The Daniel Guggenheim School was officially named the second-highest ranking undergraduate aerospace engineering program in the country by U. S. News & World Report. This is not the first time AE's undergraduate program has been so highly ranked, but it is the first time we asked our undergrads to weigh in on the news.

AE's J.P. Clarke and Massimo Ruzzene Chosen for Professorships
The tremendous career contributions of longtime AE professors John-Paul Clarke and Massimo Ruzzene were recognized recently with their appointment to two named professorships. Clarke was appointed by Dean Gary May to the College of Engineering’s Dean’s Professorship and Ruzzene was awarded the first-ever Pratt & Whitney Professorship in Aerospace Engineering. read more
AE's IPLE joins $1.25M NASA STEM Initiative
NASA has recently announced its selection of Georgia Tech's Innovative Mars Exploration Education and Technology (IMEET) program to join a three-year, $1.25 million project to promote STEM engagement in the next generation of high school and college students. read more

Prof. Vigor Yang gives 2016 AIAA Von Kármán Lecture
The von Kármán Lectureship in Astronautics honors an individual who has performed notably and distinguished themselves technically in the field of astronautics, and is named in honor of Theodore von Kármán, a world-famous authority on aerospace sciences. read more
