Fall/Winter CSA Coming Soon!

We're planning and planting now for our October trhough December CSA, and as a current CSA customer we're offering a 10% discount to you - that's $40 - if you opt into our Fall/Winter CSA anytime during the month of August! All we ask is a $50 non-refundable deposit towards the discounted $360 overall price (regularly $400). If you decide later that you don't want to join the Fall/Winter CSA, $25 of your deposit is refunded, no farm, no fowl. :) But, we're SURE you're going to LOVE the winter squash, pumpkins, melons, roots, garlic, dried and fresh beans, herbs, flowers and so much more that we have in store! Just let us know if you're interested

WholeShare order update!
We're in our first ordering cycle for the Wholeshare online bulk food club. For those of you who joined, the first order date has been changed to Monday August 20th by noon and the first delivery will be Tuesday, August 28th. Unfortunately, the delivery date is on Tuesdays so it doesn't line up with our CSA distribution days (Monday or Friday) so we can either hold your items until you can come by to get them, or deliver to you for a nominal fee. Contact us to let us know.

Tip of the Week: Put up tomatoes for the winter!

You've been getting just enough tomatoes for your salads and salsa, but why not come on down to the farm and grab some more! At only $3 a lb. for our delicious organically grown tomatoes, you could put up sauce, salsa, paste, and even ketchup and eat farm-fresh tomatoes during the fall and winter months! We'll have tomatoes for at least another month, so there's plenty to grab in the meantime. Here's a few links to home canning to can/preserve tomatoes:

Recipe: Garden-fresh Tomato Salsa
