Offshore Oil and Gas Security

On 6 June 2016,  CCES Senior Lecturer, Dr Mikhail Kashubsky presented at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) his signed book Offshore Oil and Gas Installations Security: An International Perspective, which was followed by a Q&A session with academics of BHOS.

Opening the event BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov touched upon the problems faced by the international community in the modern geopolitical realities. He stressed that offshore oil and gas platforms in Azerbaijan have always been under the strict control of the state. Rector Gasimov expressed his confidence that the book of Dr Kashubsky based on facts and analysis in the future will play a significant role in the prevention of terrorist attacks on oil and gas platforms.
