For UI faculty and research staff:
The deadline for Interdisciplinary, Scalable Solutions for a Sustainable Future (ISSSF) project funding has been extended to August 7th, 2019

This project, funded by the Provost Investment Fund, is primarily a seed grant program focused on sustainability science and outreach. Investigators may submit proposals for up to $40,000. We expect to fund 2-3 proposals each year for the next three years.
The proposal deadline is August 7, 2019. For guidelines and submission details, please visit our website.

University of Iowa Student Government (UISG) representatives made Big Ten history this month when they proposed and passed a resolution to declare a climate emergency at the annual Association of Big Ten Students Summer Conference.

"As student government leaders of the B1G Universities, we must make environmental sustainability a top priority in both our organizations and our institutions at large," said Student Body President Noel Mills in support of the resolution.
