In the spirit of "Lets Get the band back together again.." The Scottish Independence Convention Working Group has a social event on this Sunday, two years on from the referendum for all interested Indy groups to launch the next phase... to bring us all together, encourage dialogue, listen to some speeches, poetry, comedy and enjoy some music.
We need all that energy, artistic endeavour, hard work and good old political discussion to get started again ( though it has never really gone away) and we need to establish a gathering place for all the groups,individuals, artists and ideas that made the Yes movement so vital in the journey towards self determination and Independence.
The entertainment and political commentary will come from Alex Salmond, Eddi Reader, Janey Godley, Haggis McSporran, Witserface and Alan Bissett, Jean Freeman MSP, Tommy Shephard MP, Robin McAlpine (CommonWeal), Carolyn Leckie (Women for Independence), the Wee Ginger Dug and others.
