Yesterday, February 16th, the 73rd General Assembly reconvened and is ready to get to work for Coloradans. Speaker Garnett said it best today during his opening speech: “Just getting back to normal won’t be enough. We need to build back stronger for ourselves and the people of Colorado".
I look forward to working with my fellow elected officials to pass bills and make decisions that are in the best interest of all Coloradans and will lead to a brighter future for our state. In our Joint Technology Committee hearing last week, we evaluated and prioritized 15 requests for investments in information technology projects for four state agencies and eleven institutions of higher education, ranging from improving telehealth for mental health services and rural health centers to upgrading 30-year-old IT infrastructures for universities first generation college students, students of color and rural communities. Let’s get to work!
