HNBA National President Statement on the Attacks in Paris
WASHINGTON, DC -- "Our hearts are heavy today, as we learn about the terrorist attacks that have claimed the lives of so many innocent victims in Paris. Ordinary people went out on a Friday night for entertainment -- to watch a soccer game or to hear a concert. And their lives were taken away from them with savage brutality. We struggle to understand how something so senseless and tragic can happen in this world that we know and love.
As the HNBA fights for the rights of all human beings to be treated fairly, we stand in solidarity with the people of France and all around the world who deserve to live in a world free of terror and condemn the terrorist attacks in Paris.
Vous êtes en notre pensées. Liberté, égalité, fraternité."
