 Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Have you made a New Year's resolution?  As lawyers, we always strive for success, but how do we get there?  What makes us successful?  Do we start with a New Year’s resolution, a goal?  If so, then what? Maybe you decide your goal or New Year’s resolution is to meet 20 new potential clients.  Okay, ten. That would make you or your boss happy, right?

Where might you meet potential clients?   Many potential clients go to HNBA events.  They do – yes!  What’s the next step?  Learn the dates of the upcoming HNBA events.  In fact, a premier event is coming soon and you don’t want to miss this excellent opportunity!  The HNBA Director Professionalism Program is a full-day corporate board training program, on March 18, 2015 in San Antonio, and co-sponsored by the National Association of Corporate Directors. This outstanding program aims to increase the presence of Latinos on corporate boards and it will be offered right before the opening of the HNBA Corporate Counsel Conference in San Antonio, March 18-21, 2015. Perfect, right?  And what's the weather like there in March?  Seventies – fantastic!  Keep going… great Mexican food.  Now you must go!  Flights are cheap right now so you better take action.  Book your hotel and flight now.

Remember, what you do today will enhance your career tomorrow, and the HNBA is right there to help you along the way. You need more New Year's resolutions?  Plan ahead and mark your calendars for other HNBA career enhancement opportunities:
