NEW WATER & HYGIENE PROJECT IN BURKINA
"Safe Water School": 3-year project in collaboration with the Burkina Faso Ministry of National Education and Literacy (MENA) and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
Together with MENA, we have selected 20 schools in Burkina Faso which will be taking part in an educational programme aiming at improving various issues related to safe drinking water and hygiene with the help of Mini-WATA, our electro-chlorinator.
The intended goal of this project is to change students' and households' behaviour regarding household water treatment (HWT) and hygiene. This addition to the curriculum should lower the prevalence of water-borne diseases and poor school attendance.

In early December, the Antenna Foundation attended the 7th RWSN Forum (Rural Water Supply Network) in Abidjan in order to give a presentation on its successful project in Guinea-Conakry, carried out in collaboration with partner Tinkisso-Antenna: "Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage with Chlore C. A Case Study of a Social Business in Guinea".
In 2017, a new social enterprise in Burkina Faso will replicate this model in order to make the country self-sufficient in terms of bottled chlorine production.

Combating malnutrition with the help of spirulina!
A deal has just been signed between Antenna Mali and a distribution company specialising in the sale of spirulina in healthcare centres in Mali.

The team in Cambodia has started exporting spirulina. By purchasing their product, you are helping our partners safeguard the future of both farms, as well as contributing to social distribution.

The farm of Agou Nyoubo in Togo is a very good example of success. Congratulations to Tona and Elisabeth and all their team!
The work began in November 2011 and today, the programme has achieved all of its goals : distribution to children, creating jobs, technical and financial autonomy!
