Program presented by Antenna at the GHF

"Prevention of nosocomial infections in Burkina Faso thanks to devices used for the local production of sodium hypochlorite"

Antenna will set up an exhibition stand in  “Tomorrow’s Affordable Hospital" to present his WATA technology, particularly in the context of its program set up in Burkina Faso since 2009 in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.

In 2009, the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso and Antenna Technologies launched a programme to install WATA electro-chlorinator devices, helping to enhance the accessibility and quality of healthcare services in 63 health districts and 13 hospitals.  The program had two main objectives:

  • To ensure that healthcare centres have access to sufficient quantities of good quality and affordable sodium hypochlorite
  • To ensure the more widespread use of sodium hypchlorite for decontamination and disinfection purposes in healthcare facilities.
