The next Connector JPA board meeting will be held this Friday, January 9th, at 8:30 a.m. at the Rancho Cordova City Council Chambers. New business items include: Accepting the FY 2013-14 Audit Report, Adopting the Availability and Deferred Revenue Policy, Authorizing Amendment No. 3 to the Contract with Smith, Watts & Martinez for Governmental Relations Services, and Authorizing Amendment No. 1 to the Contract with Drake Haglan & Associates
The Board will adjourn to a separate workshop on the Plan of Finance in the American River South Room in Rancho Cordova City Hall.
Hume Elected JPA Chair; Starsky Elected Vice Chair
Elk Groveâ€™s vice mayor and a Folsom City Council member have been named the top two officers of the Capitol Connector Joint Powers Authority board.
Pat Hume of Elk Grove was elected board chair and Jeff Starsky of Folsom was picked vice chair at the boardâ€™s December meeting. The board is responsible for a planned 35-mile highway between Interstate 5 in Elk Grove and Highway 50 east of El Dorado Hills.
