Dear all,

Since almost everyone is studying really really hard for the final exams atm, we'll keep this ISN newsletter short.
Unfortunately, this will also be the last newsletter of the semester - maybe it will even be the last ISN newsletter you'll ever receive! :( Most of you are finishing the exchange semester: writing the final exams and assignments, buying souvenirs for the friends and family back home, and packing your bags to really leave Amsterdam.. for now! We're sure we'll see every single one of you back in Amsterdam soon; who can resist coming back to this wonderful city?! For the ones who are staying, you're more than welcome to join all our amazing activities in the new semester! At the beginning of February we'll have our Winter Introduction Week for all the new incoming students, but after that our semester calendar will be just as filled with great events as it used to be this semester. Stay updated by checking our website and Facebook page, or subscribe to the new mailing list for the new semester!

Good luck with the final exams, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Lots of love,

Your ISN Board,

Floortje, Nina, Hugo, Krijna, Kim, Tiemen, Priya & Hidde

No office hours nor International Student Drinks in January

The ISN Office in CREA will be closed for the whole month of January, because we won't be organizing (neither selling tickets for) any activities and we'll be busy preparing for the new semester. You can mail for all your questions!

Furthermore, we'll take a break from our weekly International Student Drinks! :( Coco's will still be open every Wednesday so feel free to go on your own with your friends! From February on ISN will be hosting the weekly 'borrels' again.

Unfortunately, ISN won't organise any activities in January. We'll be too busy preparing for the Winter Introduction Week and planning all the activities for the new semester. But don't be too sad! Our friends from Columbus are organizing an Oriental themed party on January the 12th and ISN students are welcome to join!

There is no better way to meet your peers than with food and drinks in your hands. Let your tastebuds be surprised by the great sushi and sakè provided by Otemba!

International Studentunion Columbus is going to host their first Oriental themed party on january the 12th. This party will co-hosted by Otemba, best known for the Sunset Sushi event on ADE, who will provide the food. You can buy your tickets online when sale starts. And no party is complete without music. The DJ line-up will be announced later!

Be sure to buy your ticket when the pre-sale starts! 50 early bird-tickets available!

If you're not that into sushi, you can also buy a regular ticket without sushi.

Meet the Student of the Week!

Bernardo Moreira is the last Student of the Week of the ISN fall semester 2016-2017! Thank you Bernardo for all your enthusiasm; especially the enthusiasm for Coco's ;) We really loved your great inspirational post about enjoying the last weeks of Coco's we had left! And your description of Coco's couldn't be more accurate: 'Hate it or love it, its pretty much the first place where we all showed our inner party animals and got a lil crazy.'
