Weekly Announcements: September 20-26, 2020

Divine Liturgy 

Fr. Shnork Souin will be celebrating Divine Liturgy in our sanctuary this Sunday, September 20th, starting at 10:00 AM and morning service starting at 9:30 AM. This Sunday's sermon will be shared by Dn. Michael Sabounjian who will be exploring the greater implications of divorce in Christian thought.

Please wear a mask. If you are frail or not in great health, please stay safe and stay home.

Badarak will continue to be streamed live on our Facebook page; please click HERE to join us in prayer.

Meet With The Doctors

The Cultural Committee will continue hosting "Meet with the Doctors" next Friday, September 25th at 7:30pm. You can tune in to Dr. Ara Sadaniantz's presentation "Five steps to a healthy heart" via our Facebook Page. Please submit questions to jcmartiesian@gmail.com prior to the presentation or in the chat box during the event.

Virtual Sacred Music Festival 

The Eastern Diocese's Sacred Music Council will be hosting an online event for choir singers, directors, instrumentalists, and lovers of Armenian sacred music. Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel will preside over the "virtual" festival, which will run Friday evening through Saturday, October 23-24, and will feature instructional workshops, educational seminars, and recitals.

2nd Annual Bishop's 5K

The ACYOA is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Bishop's 5K which will take place in October 2020 right near you!
The 5K is open to ALL ages. A 5K is the equivalent to 3.1 miles and you may choose to run, walk, rollerblade, skip, or hop....or a combination of all of them!
Just go outside the week of 9/27-10/4 and record your activity. Once recorded, you will upload to our platform and see yourself on the leaderboard! Yes, we are completing this 5K virtually, which means.... anytime & anywhere!

The Eastern Diocese is pleased to announce the new educational initiative called Vemkar. 
Vemkar is an online Armenian Church school accessible to anyone and everyone, filled with multimedia and applicable resources as well as learning activities designed to enrich us in faith and edify our appreciation of the Armenian Church’s culture and theology.
