Club 21 is our weekly(ish) all ages social club, where we get to try out new things with our friends!

Cineplex Barrie offers Sensory-friendly movie showings.
Join some DSASC friends for favourite movies with the sound a little lower, the lights a little less dim, and an audience that you don't have to worry about annoying.
All tickets are the price of a child's admission fee, and these show about once/month on Saturday mornings at 10:30.

3. Young Adults Day Program

10 weeks: Tuesdays March 21 to May 23rd, 2017

This day program is designed to offer continued development of independence skills and provide social opporunities. Activities include physical activity, arts/crafts, music, outings, academics, games, meal prep, and more.

5. Call for Photos/Stories for Newsletter
|
|
|
Our next printed newsletter will include photos of activities from throughout the school year so far, and we would like to feature our Down Syndrome Day celebrations. If you and/or your friends/classmates do something to celebrate the day, please take a picture and share it with us to include in the newsletter!

Our 7th annual DSASC Charity Golf Tournament will take place on July 20, 2017.
Make plans to join us and watch for registration details in the spring.
Several sponsorship opportunities are available. This golf tournament is one of our 3 main sources of revenue for our programs and activities, and the success of the event depends on the involvement of our members!

We are also looking for VOLUNTEERS. Let us know if you are interested in helping out on the planning committee, or on the day of the event.

The 30th Canadian Down Syndrome Conference will take place in Banff, Alberta at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, May 19 to 21, 2017.
The Canadian Down Syndrome Conference acts as a platform to share current developments and information from experts in their respective fields, as they relate to Down syndrome. Information in the fields of education, aging, health care, research, and advocacy will be shared with members of the community in the form of plenary/keynote speakers, panel discussions, and presentations.
