Hello, what's up, and welcome to the Lite + Brite newsletter.
Perhaps you have noticed that it's raining.
I (Leila) LOVE the rain, and rarely have I felt as invigorated by weather as I have these past few weeks. This my LITERAL DREAM. It is less the literal dream of event producers and venues, many of whom have canceled and rescheduled (sometimes more than once) to try to get a non-rainy date. Everything that we're listing here has not at present been canceled for rain, but you should double-check.
If you're not already a subscriber to this newsletter, click here. Also, please support us by forwarding this email to your friends who enjoy things like listening to music and leaving the house sometimes.
When we're not going out a bunch or tracking events for you, we like to put together parties of our own. Right now you can catch us streaming No Lights No Lycra Austin at 8pm CT every Monday on Twitch. Brian also does a weekly radio show on the internet's most pee-adjacent radio station, KPISS. No Humans Allowed this week made a trip to our favorite imaginary nightclub for robots, Club Dongle. You can stream the most recent episode on KPISS.fm and listen live to the show on Wednesdays at 10pm CT. Scroll down to check out playlists and get more info.

What is No Lights No Lycra?
Austin's weekly judgment-free, substance-free, high-impact dance thing in the dark. We stream every Monday at 8pm CT. It's a DJ night that's not at the club, a workout that's not at the gym, a personal meditation that's anything but silent. Read more about us in the Austin Chronicle.
How do we choose which events to feature?
Honestly, it's pretty random. We might include anything in Austin that we, personally, would conceivably want to go to, generally excluding normal concerts, comedy shows, and movie showtimes because there are many other good resources for finding those. This list is by no means exhaustive; it's just stuff that caught our eye this week. If you have an event that you want us to consider including, send it over.
Who are we?
We make this newsletter. We put on No Lights No Lycra each week. We do some other stuff here and there. We love going out to creative events in Austin, and we want you to join us. Visit us at liteandbriteatx.com.
