YEARBOOKS: DEADLINE THIS SUNDAY @ MIDNIGHT!📔

This year has been a year to remember. And there’s nothing better to keep the memories than with the 2020/21 LEB Yearbook!

With over 550 photos submitted from teachers, staff, admin, and parents,  we have a yearbook bursting full of memories!  And with retakes scheduled for tomorrow, we’ll have individual and class photos from every grade.

NEW! This year we’ll also have Crazy Grade 7 grad photos, Crazy Teacher photos, and a page full of quotes and personal messages from the graduating class!

Yearbooks will be sold at cost for $15, and you can order on Munch, and Munch credits can be applied to your order(s).  (Most of you have them, so might as well use them!)

New parents need to register for Munch here, or by clicking this link: https://munchalunch.com/schools/leb/

Returning parents can go directly to the login page here, or by clicking on this link:  https://munchalunch.com/login

PHOTO RETAKES ON TUESDAY MAY 11  📸

A reminder that photo retakes are on TUESDAY, MAY 11. (That’s tomorrow, or today, depending on when you read this).  This will also give a chance for classes that missed the first photos to still make it into the yearbook.

PAC MEETING SLIDES, ARTICLES & MINUTES 📋

Thank you to everyone for participating, and for Dr. Goldfarb for his Covid-19 presentation.  As requested by many parents, we’re attaching his slides along with articles he had referenced, and the PAC minutes which give a brief summary of the presentation. You can access the PAC minutes and summary here, or by clicking this link:  https://lebpac.ca/2021-04-29-pac-minutes.pdf

The presentation along with articles can be found here, or by following this link:  https://lebpac.ca/goldfarb/

TRAFFIC ON 14th AVENUE 🚘

A quick note thanking all the parents for not stopping on the south side 14th Avenue for dropoff and pickup. This helps avoid traffic issues, and makes it safer for cyclists and pedestrians.  Also, a quick reminder that as per city bylaws, you are allowed to stop in any no parking zone for up to 5 minutes to load/unload passengers. (But not at “no stopping” signs).  You can read the bylaws by clicking here, or on this link:  https://vancouver.ca/streets-transportation/no-stopping-and-no-parking-zones.aspx
