Hope everyone was able to enjoy a bit of the lovely snow! ☃️ Just a couple of quick items from the LEB PAC.
PAC Meeting & Speaker Series: “Everything you wanted to know about High School (but were afraid to ask)” Thurs. Feb. 25 @ 7pm 🏫👩🏻🎓👨🏼🎓
The LEB PAC will be hosting a Q&A session with a group of ex-LEB High School students. Come hear what they have to say about transitioning to High School, what they miss about L’Ecole Bilingue, advice they’d give to new students, and much more. If you or your child have a question you’d like them to answer, please email the PAC at email@example.com with subject line: HIGH SCHOOL QUESTION. We’ll have students from Churchill, Hamber, PW Trek, and Tupper Mini School. Note: This is a special session for parents AND students.
Valentine’s Gift to Staff and Admin, (and thank you response) ❤️ This year the PAC was able to give LEB staff and admin a little Valentine’s gift and note on behalf of the LEB community. The staff and admin were kind enough to respond with some notes of thank you. Just a few of the comments:
“This is a very different year for everyone and it is sooo nice to be reminded that we are so supported by a community of wonderful families!”
“Merci de penser à nous! Thank you for the chocolates!”
Among Us Tournament: Part Deux 🏆🏆 Thanks to Tim Vines and the volunteer parent chaperones for making this happen, again! We had over 60 kids join in for this community building event. If anyone has comments/thoughts on improving the tournament in the future, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Spring Break Babysitting Course 👶🏼 We are in the process of finalizing details for offering the babysitting course again during the first week of Spring Break. Stay tuned for details.
Updated Covid Protocols 😷 The province has recently updated it’s Covid protocols. Please take a look at the updated daily health check over here, or at this link: https://www.k12dailycheck.gov.bc.ca. Let’s also set a good example for our kids by wearing masks, and encouraging them to do the same. And if possible, asking your child/ren to wear a mask when inside of the classroom.
