From Gazza's desk:
Just want to say it has been a privilege and and honor to organise this event with such an awesome bunch of people. We have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of putting it together. It has been great to see people improve health and fitness throughout the series. Alistair Dickson is a classic example. Last January when he came along to one of our first events, he told me he had been ill and was recovering, since then Alistair has improved is health and his times progressively from 24 minutes to under 21 minutes.

I have also been amazed the way people have run events over the weekend such as  half marathon and come out on the Monday and do a PB. A number of people did the Kaiteriteri half or 10km and still found the energy to turnout on Monday, I take my hat of to you all.

The other thing that  has always intrigued during the series and previous ones, is the way Colette Read's number almost always gets pulled from the bucket, uncanny!.

A huge thanks to all of our Sponsors who made this event so successful, their support is why we saw some great prizes throughout and especially at the final

What Happened:
Simon Leaning won the final event in 18.20 from Matt Newberry and an improving Don Bate who seems to finally found his running legs. It was great to see Robyn Deane return with an impressive 20.31 after winning the Kaiteriteri 10km over the weekend. Followed by Lauren Penney and Barb Pauling.  Those incredibly fast walk times continued with Ross Mitchell 27.27 and Roger Denton 28.49.  Raylene Stringer post her series fastest of 30.21 followed by Gretchen Rasch 35.20 and Heather McNabb 35.52.
