Braumeisters Newsletter #3
Not so monthly, isn't it?!
Another issue of the newsletter after months of silence.
When I started the newsletters I was convinced I would find the time to send out an issue every month or so. Silly me! But since there was such positive response to the first issues I'm going to try to be more consistent and send out a newsletter about every two months. Please keep on reading to find out some useful (and surprising) stuff!
Where are you from?
Filling out your profile makes it a bit more personal.
Did you already filled out your location and Braumeister model in your profile? No? Head over to the User Control Panel and click the Profile tab. Simply add your location and select your Braumeister model. This info will be shown underneath your username on every post you make and might encourage other forum members to help you out or even invite you over for a beer!
Use the menu on the left hand side to navigate through the different sections to edit your avatar, your signature and your account details (e-mail address and password).
Speidel, here we come!
What about we go visit the Speidel factory?
A few weeks ago I received a friendly e-mail from Ralf Leukart to thank me for starting the forum (which of course was good for my ego). He ended the e-mail by inviting me to visit Speidel when I was in the neighbourhood. Although I would be glad accept the invitation the factory is about 600km away from my home address. This visit is not something I can plan for a Saturday afternoon.
It did make me think about organizing a forum meeting in the region with a visit to Speidel. When proposing this to Ralf he answered positively! He would be glad to have us over for discussion and tasting some beers.
Join the discussion on the forum and make this meeting become reality!
Not a Fan of the Green Theme?
Changing to the blue forum theme.
Are your eyes hurting staring at the forum in its green dress? No worries! You can change to a blue based theme! It's a bit less sexy but it gets the job done!
Simply go to the Board preferences tab in the User Control Panel and select "prosilver" as you board style. And when you are there feel free to change your timezone, date format, etc...
