Keep Up With Us
The beginning of the stud season seems an ideal time to introduce you to our staff. There will be many you will already know but some fantastic additions who have brought positive, hard working attitudes coupled with a great deal of industry experience. (From left to right) Kat Robinson, Amy Boxshall and Jenny Evans.
Kat Robinson was a seasonal employee last year and has returned to us as a full time Stud Groom. Kat previously worked for Emily Llewellyn as her event groom, looking after a variety of stallions, mares and geldings. She groomed at events both nationally and internationally including Boekelo 3* in Holland. Kat breaks in young horses, buys and sells and also enjoys hunting.

Amy Boxshall has also recently joined the ranks at Stallion AI Services and brings with her a great deal of experience in numerous fields in the equine industry (pardon the pun!). She has competed in dressage, eventing, show jumping, team chasing and showing making her an allround horsewoman. In addition, she specialises in reschooling "problem" horses in her spare time, restoring their confidence and trust. Her stud experience is as extensive as her competition record so you can be sure that your stallion is in capable hands.
Jenny Evans has recently joined our team and has already become an integral part of the yard staff. She has completed her Stages 1 and 2 BHS Horse Care and Riding qualifications and has groomed on a showjumping yard and stud as well as a Supervisor and Yard Technician at Reaseheath College Equine Unit. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her own horse, helping her friends prepare their horses for shows and socialising with friends and family.

Open Day News!

We have all been hard at work planning to make this year's Open Day bigger and better than last year. We have just shy of 20 stallions currently confirmed for the Stallion Parade, from a range of different disciplines. There are some fabulous prizes to bid for in our Silent Auction so be sure not to miss out. Many of our stallion owners have kindly donated their stallion's semen so take a look, it could be one you plan to put to your mare! Keep up to date with developments on our Facebook page click here.

Stallion AI Services On The Road

March has seen a fair few miles covered by Stallion AI Services!

At the beginning of the month, Tullis flew out to Saudi Arabia to set up a laboratory there for an Arabian Stud. He successfully provided collection and freezing training for all veterinary members of staff. He assured us back at head quarters that he worked tirelessly every day but his Facebook page led us to question that! That being said, his tan wasn't up to much so perhaps he was telling the truth! Joking aside, it was a very successful trip with happy customers!

Towards the end of the month, the team had to split up. Kate and Tullis attending the annual Shire Horse Society Show where we sponsored one of the classes, the prize giving of which was presented by Tullis. Faye went to the Northern Stallion Showcase with Edward Matson from Twemlows Stud Farm with our trade stand and for its first year, there was a good turn out with a wide variety of stallions displayed. Both shows were a success and it was great to meet some new faces and some familiar ones too!
