Summer may still be a few months away, but summer camp registration is happening now. In this issue of our newsletter, we've collected a list of several camp options for this summer. Take a look!
- June 28-July 3: Cascade Mountain School, ages 12-14, $700 before April 1 (scholarships available)
- July 13-17: Bloomin' Brains Summer Camp, middle school students, free
- July 20-24: UW Bioengineering Summer Day Camp, 8th grade only, $500 (scholarships available)
- Aug. 3-7: Frogprints e! Summer STEM Sail Camp, ages 9-12, $415 (scholarships available)
- Aug. 10-14: SGS Summer STEAM Camp - our students can serve as Ambassador Counselors only
- Multiple Dates: Computer Science Camps from UW Computer Science + Engineering, 7th + 8th only, $220 (scholarships available)
- Multiple Dates/Camps: iD Tech Camp at UW, various ages, $899+
- Multiple Dates: Washington Trails Youth Volunteer Summer Vacations, 8th grade only, $245 (scholarships available)
- Date TBA: Queer Rock Band, ages 12-21, free, suggested donation of $325, or any amount that is meaningful
Important Info for Parents/Guardians
Because we welcome your support and involvement, all parents/guardians are members of our Community Association of Parents (CAP). CAP meets once per month to talk about many opportunities to participate in and support school life. Even if you can't make the monthly morning meetings, we encourage you to check the CAP page frequently to see meeting agendas, meeting notes, etc. If you have questions about CAP, or your participation, please email Lisa Podell at lisapod@comcast.net or Tina Woods at christina.l.woods@earthlink.net.
The next CAP meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 20, from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Singh House. This meeting has been rescheduled from Thursday, March 12. Take a look at the meeting's agenda here »
