Whose Land iPhone App launched!

NATSICC iPhone App allows users to acknowledge and pay their respects to Traditional Owners

Using mapping technology and satellite GPS, Whose Land is able to tell you the Language Group of the land upon which you are standing. Using the map function, you can also select anywhere in Australia and find out the Language Group of that area.

The simple act of seeking out and acknowledging the people that cared for and walked upon this land for thousands of years is an important part of Reconciliation.

A feedback button has been included that allows users to advise of any issues relating to boundaries, making the Whose Land map a living and dynamic representation of contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups.*

The App also includes:
  • NATSICC TV with stories from Elders, presentations and programs on NATSICC projects
  • Latest news from NATSICC
This is the release of the first stage of Whose Land. Future updates will include information on Aboriginal and Islander Ministries and organisations and information on upcoming events.

Click on the button below to download via iTunes or search for "NATSICC" on your iPhone or iPad.

The App is a free download. Please forward this email to your contacts.
