January is here and we wish you all a very Happy belated New Year! We hope this year brings you nothing but happiness and new adventures. 
We look forward to assisting you all throughout the year. We have included some travel postural tips below to help you feel more comfortable when driving your car and read about our KIDS and TEENS Pilates classes below.

With all the yummy, festive foods consumed over the holidays, your bodies may be feeling a little overwhelmed. Take a look at the great juice detox recipe!
Dealing with the back-to-work traffic

With everyone back to work and sitting in the everyday traffic, we thought this info may be relevant to you!

We are here if you need us, whether it's for Physio or a massage to help relax those muscles and to assist with the ergonomics of your car seat.
Whilst on the topic of being back at work, remember to get up for a stretch and a little walk around the office every hour or so, to get the blood pumping and to keep you more alert and focused!

Pilates classes for the youth


Benefits of Pilates for your children includes improved concentration, strengthening of muscles, body awareness and posture correction, not to mention lots of fun! All this helps to maintain their bodies for their other activities and can aid to relieve stress. Give Kiana a call to find out more about theses classes and to add your "little one's" name to the start-up sheet!

Kids classes:
- Mondays
- 3:30pm to 4:15pm
- ages 8 - 11/12

Teens classes:
- Thursdays
- 4:30pm to 5:15pm
- ages 13 - 16/17
Citrus detox juice

Ingredients:
  • 1 Grapefruit
  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Lemon
  • Piece of ginger (optional)
Method:
  • Roll each fruit around on the counter to help the juicing process.
  • Halve the grapefruit, two oranges and lemon.
  • Squeeze each half into a glass with some ice.
  • Add a bit of fresh ginger if desired, for that extra little kick.

Our Physio's and their New Years
Cathy and her family celebrated New Year at the Blanco Guest Farm in the Karoo, with a 'Blanco Burn' theme!
Looks like such fun!

Fun fact

On January 20-21, it is the first full moon and the first lunar eclipse of 2019. It's also the year’s first supermoon, meaning the moon is nearly at its closest to Earth for this month, as the eclipse takes place.
This will be the last total lunar eclipse to grace Earth’s sky until 2021.
