Introduced in 2013, the SRN Award of Excellence recognises the efforts of an outstanding SRN member who has endeavoured to make a positive difference towards sustainability at Macquarie. There are Awards for the following category winners:
- SRN Award of Excellence – Academic
- SRN Award of Excellence – Professional
From the nominations, the judging panel also identifies the winner of the Highly Commended Award.
This is an opportunity to shine and be awarded for your great contribution towards sustainability. You are encouraged to nominate yourself or another individual on the SRN that you feel deserves recognition. Non-SRN members such as a colleague, manager/head of department can also nominate an SRN member from within their department.
Please click on the link for further details and to complete the on-line nomination form.
The winners will be decided by an independent panel of judges and announced at the SRN quarterly meeting in December. There will be a prize awarded for the winning nominations and a highly commended. Prize recipients will receive a plaque and a Red Balloon experience voucher.
So go on, nominate yourself or another SRN member who you feel is championing for sustainability on campus – your achievements deserve to be celebrated.* If you have any questions please contact the Sustainability Engagement Officer - email@example.com
