INTERNATIONAL PERIO MASTER CLINIC: The EFP's International Perio Master Clinic, which had been scheduled to take place in León, Mexico on February 25 and 26 this year, will now take place on May 5 and 6, 2023. The event will focus on hard- and soft-tissue aesthetic reconstructions around teeth and dental implants. The second International Perio Master Clinic's single-track programme allows the attendee to witness all aspects of regeneration and plastic aesthetic surgery under one roof.

GUM HEALTH DAY 2022: A set of slogans for this year's Gum Health Day has been designed by the EFP for its affiliated national societies of periodontology to use for the May 12 awareness day. Some slogans relate to this year's theme of “Treat Your Gums”, others concern the importance of early diagnosis of periodontal diseases, and others still encourage dental professionals to register for EuroPerio10. Full details will be given at the EFP general assembly in Vienna on March 26.

JCP DIGEST: Full-mouth or quadrant-wise instrumention to treat stage III and IV periodontitis? This is the question addressed in JCP Digest 96, which summarises the findings of a randomised, blinded, multicentre trial. JCP Digest 97 explores the hot topic of the use of antibiotics in therapy peri-impantitis therapy, focusing on a clinical trial of the use of adjunctive systemic metronidazole.
