Gaspard | Pinot Noir
100% Pinot Noir
Loire Valley, France

I selected this wine for two reasons - First, because I love it and it's a great value for French Pinot Noir under $20. Second, to call your attention to our virtual wine tasting on May 28 @ 6pm with Jenny Lefcourt, owner of Jenny & Francois Selections. Jenny is an amazing woman and entrepreneur with a very interesting story. Please join us, the tasting is free we just ask that you purchase a bottle or two of her wine. Gaspard is a Jenny & François house label. The grapes are sourced from a winemaker in the Loire Valley who makes the wines to Jenny's specifications. Jenny met a Parisian artist and asked her to create labels for this project. They put their heads together and came up with the name “Gaspard,” and a joyful label for lovely Loire-Valley creations.

Domaine Des Nugues | Gamay
Gamay Blend
Beaujolais, France

We got new Beaujolais wines in this week and Elan wanted to share! Beaujolais isn't just for the Fall- it's an excellent wine this time of year. Refreshing on a warm day, toasty on a chilly night.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes: Deep ruby color with berries and spice aromas.

Pasaeli | Seahorse Rosé
100% Çalkarasi
Denizli, Turkey

We just got the 2020 vintage of this rosé in! This picture is a snap I took last year for our instagram page, which I've always been super proud of. I think the color burst behind the bottle represents the wine- summery, fun with complexity. This wine has a lot of red fruit on the nose, and then nice mineralogy and acidity on the palate.

Josephine De Boyd | 2015 Margaux
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
Bordeaux, France

Shelley recommends giving this bottle an hour or so to decant, and she says it will pair beautifully with with a variety of grilled meats as wells savory mushroom based dishes.

Commercial Description: A lovely purple-red color. Red fruit on the nose, even with black cherry and blackberry. The mouth is full and elegant, well balanced and gives a generous roundness with smooth tannins. Beautiful and long finish.
