PSNI has recently begun expanding its core program into well run, accountable organizations like GKI that want to include the PSNI Play for Fun, Learn for Life program within their organization.  GKI, a previous winner of the Beyond Sport Award for Social Inclusion, will be using the PSNI program curriculum for targeted school and community programs under the terms of the MOU signed last year. PSNI will provide in-kind support to help GKI develop their capacity and sustainability as a new kind of partner in the PSNI Network.
NEW PSNI OFFICE
PSNI began the year with a move from its office of many years in Princeton, New Jersey to a new office location at 601 North Clinton Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey 08638. PSNI continues its umbrella responsibilities for the PLAY SOCCER Nonprofit International Network but the new location puts the PSNI office at the center of action for its Trenton USA program and in the same building with its new partner, the East Trenton Collaborative, a group of organizations that work on common objectives to improve the physical, social and economic wellbeing of the ETC neighborhood and the City of Trenton at large. PSNI aims to add particular value through its development through sport initiative and recreational soccer and educational program as a broad public health intervention.
